Ingredients
1 cup + 2 TBSP warm water
1 1/2 tsp yeast
2 TBSP sugar
3 TBSP melted butter
1 tsp salt
3 cups flour
1 TBSP Italian seasoning/garlic powder mixed

Directions
1. In small bowl dissolve sugar in the water then add in yeast and set aside for 10 minutes
2. In large bowl mix flour, salt and spices
3. Mix melted butter into flour
4. Add yeast/water to flour and kneed until dough is elastic - about 3-5 minutes
5. Lightly oil bowl and place dough inside - cover and let rise in warm room for 90 minutes
6. Cut dough into 12 equal parts and roll into 7 inch logs
7. Place on baking sheet, cover and let rise again for 1 hour
8. Bake at 400F for 12 minutes
9. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese while still hot
10. Serve warm with pasta or a bolognese sauce
Notes
Lightly press dough logs down before baking then remove from oven at 10 minutes and sprinkle with shredded cheese and spices then return to oven for 2 - 3 minutes for cheesy bread
